Werner Lanthaler, the chief executive of Evotec AG, has joined the supervisory board of ArGEN-X BV of Belgium which is developing antibodies for human therapeutics. Dr Lanthaler has led Evotec since March 2009. Before that he was the chief financial officer at Intercell AG, and prior to that, director of the Federation of Austrian Industry. Dr Lanthaler holds a doctorate in business administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and earned at master’s degree from Harvard University in the US. The appointment was announced on 14 April 2014.
