Nuclera Ltd, a biotechnology company which has developed a system to speed up protein expression and purification in research labs, has appointed Seth Benson as chief financial officer. He will be responsible for commercial and strategic initiatives, revenue growth and business expansion following the close of Nuclera’s $75 million Series C financing round in October 2024. Nuclera launched the system called eProtein Discovery in 2024 with its installation at 11 academic institutions in the US, UK and Belgium. Mr Benson joins Nuclera from Vizgen, a spatial genomics company, where he was CFO, and previously at Invaio Sciences he led a global finance team in fundraising and international expansion. Mr Benson holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BSc in biology from Duke University, both US.
Nuclera announced the appointment on 24 February 2025.
