Vijay Peddareddigari, formerly of Janssen Pharmaceuticals Inc, has joined UK-based Autolus Ltd as chief medical officer. Autolus is developing engineered T cell therapies for cancer. Dr Peddareddigari started his career as a medical oncologist at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas before moving to the pharmaceutical industry where he served as medical director at GlaxoSmithKline Plc. In addition to working for Janssen, Dr Peddareddigari has also been an adjunct assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Autolus announced the appointment on 21 March 2016.
