France-based Nicox SA has appointed Tomas Navratil, a chemist and ophthalmic specialist, as head of development to oversee the company’s portfolio of products for glaucoma and other eye indications. Dr Navratil was previously head of development at Envisia Therapeutics Inc and before that, director of clinical research and product development at Parion Sciences Inc. He received his bachelor of science and PhD degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he now serves on the advisory board of the chemistry department.
Nicox announced the appointment on 3 January 2018.
