Tatjana May to head Shire’s corporate responsibility committee

The UK speciality pharmaceutical company, Shire Ltd, has appointed Tatjana May as chair of its corporate responsibility committee with immediate effect. Ms May is general counsel, company secretary and executive vice president for global legal affairs. She has worked for Shire since 2001. An important focus of the company’s community activities is the environment. The company produces regular environmental impact assessments, monitors its carbon footprint and sets targets for reducing carbon emissions.
