Tania Dimitrova, an experienced investor and business executive, has been appointed chief business officer at Artios Pharma Ltd as the company expands its presence in the US. Artios is developing cancer treatments based on DNA repair technology. Ms Dimitrova joins Artios from Pfizer Inc where she was a director of worldwide business development. Prior to this, she was a member of the corporate M&A group at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co.
Ms Dimitrova holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor degree in economics and mathematics from Mount Holyoke College, both in the US.
Artios announced the appointment on 24 September 2019.
