Sygnis Pharma Ag, which specialises in neurodegenerative diseases, has appointed Peter Simon to the newly created position of Vice President for Business Development.
Alfred Bach, chief executive, said Sygnis would be looking for partners to help develop its pipeline. “Peter’s substantial business development expertise will guide Sygnis’s partnering activities as we seek to maximise the value of our innovative CNS pipeline through his new role in the company.
Dr Simon was previously Senior Director for Business Development at Jerini Ag and has held senior positions at other pharmaceutical companies.
