Steve Swinson has been elected chairman of the board of Bone Therapeutics SA of Belgium, replacing Michel Helbig, who will continue as a non-executive director. Dr Swinson is currently chair of the French medical device company Vexim SA. He has previously held senior positions in orthopaedic medical technology and electronics including managing the international spine division at Medtronic Inc. He holds a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Manchester, UK and a MBA from the University of Chicago, US.
Bone Therapeutics has also appointed Dirk Dembski as a non-executive director. Mr Dembski is managing director of bricon GmbH which is part of the Naton Medical Group of China.
Bone Therapeutics announced the appointments on 3 July 2017.
