Shire Plc has named Soh Fujiwara as managing director of its operations in Japan concurrent with the opening of a new representative office in that country. Mr Fujiwara is a pharmaceutical industry veteran having spent a significant amount of time developing products for rare diseases. In his new role, he will help oversee the commercialisation of Shire’s human genetic therapies.
