ISA Pharmaceuticals BV of the Netherlands has formally appointed Ronald Loggers as chief executive officer. Mr Loggers has been acting CEO since July 2013 and prior to that was chair of the company’s supervisory board.
He was previously managing director of Multifund BV, a family-owned investment firm, and one of ISA’s major funders. From 1998 to 2005 he worked for the private equity firm HAL Investments, and prior to that for McKinsey & Company. He holds an MBA from INSEAD in France and an MSc in chemical engineering from Delft University of the Netherlands.
Based in Leiden, ISA Pharmaceuticals develops synthetic therapeutic vaccines against cancer and viral infections.
The company announced the appointment on 7 July 2014.
