Compass Pathways Plc has appointed Guy Goodwin as chief medical officer to oversee development of psilocybin, a psychedelic prodrug for treatment-resistant depression. Professor Goodwin is Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry at The University of Oxford, UK and most recently, was medical director at P1vital Ltd, a clinical research and healthcare organisation.
Compass announced the appointment 29 July 2021.
