Cellectis SA of France has appointed Professor Alain Fischer to its scientific advisory board, while Alain Godard has joined the company’s board of directors.
Prof Fischer is a specialist in immunology and gene therapy. He has won awards both in France and elsewhere, including the Louis-Jeantet Prize for Medicine in Geneva in 2001 and the European Community’s Descartes Prize in 2005.
Mr Godard is an agricultural engineer and has held a series of senior management positions in the fields of agricultural biotech and human and animal healthcare.
Cellectis is a genome engineering and genome surgery company.
