Peter Lindborg, senior vice president for international commercial operations at Biogen Idec, has been appointed to the board of directors of Orexo AB of Sweden.
At Biogen Idec, Mr Lindborg has responsibility overseeing operations in a number of countries including the Nordic area. Previously, he was managing director for Biogen Idec Australia and also has worked for Merck Sharp & Dohme and for Kabi Pharmacia. Mr Lindborg obtained a bachelor of science degree from the University of Stockholm.
Based in Uppsala, Orexo develops new patented drugs by combining well-documented substances with new technologies.
