Paula Salmikangas, a former research professor at the Finnish Medicines Agency, has joined the regulatory consultancy NDA Group AB as director of biopharmaceuticals and advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs). Dr Salmikangas was chair of the Committee for Advanced Therapies at the European Medicines Agency for three years to January 2017. She has also been chair of the EMA cell products working party and a member of the agency’s biologicals working party.
The NDA Group announced the appointment on 12 September 2017.
