Sweden-based Orexo AB has appointed Fredrik Järrsten as chief financial officer and member of the management team, starting in September, or earlier. Orexo’s lead product is on the market for the treatment of opioid use disorder.
Mr Järrsten was most recently CFO of Oasmia Pharmaceutical AB and Karolinska Development AB. He has experience in business development and mergers and acquisitions, as an executive, investor and advisor.
Orexo announced the appointment on 11 March 2022.
