OMass Therapeutics Ltd, which is developing small molecule therapeutics for orphan diseases and immunological conditions, has appointed a new five member scientific advisory board. Chairing the board is Carol Robinson, founder of OMass, and professor of chemistry and founding director of the Kavli Institute for Nanoscience Discovery at Oxford University. She has been recognised for her research into the 3D structure of proteins. The board also includes Chas Bountra, professor of translational medicine at Oxford; Fiona Marshall, head of discovery, preclinical and translational medicine at Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp; James Naismith, professor of structural biology at Oxford, and John Yates, professor in the departments of molecular medicine and neurobiology at Scripps Research in the US.
OMass Therapeutics announced the appointments on 7 March 2022.
