Per-Olof Attinger, head of group communications at Roche, has been appointed head of the office of the chief executive and secretary to the corporate executive committee, effective 1 June 2010. He will report to the chief executive, Severin Schwan. The position has been newly created following a reorganisation of the executive committee at the start of 2010. Effective 1 August, Stephan Feldhaus will take over as head of group communications and become a member of the enlarged corporate executive committee. He will also report to Mr Schwan. Mr Feldhaus is joining Roche from Siemens AG, where he worked in corporate communications. He holds a PhD in theology from the University of Munich.
