Novigenix SA has named Jan Groen as chief executive to help lead the company’s commercialisation of products for early cancer detection. The Swiss company’s technology involves identifying disease specific mRNA signatures in circulating immune cells. Dr Groen brings years of experience in medical diagnostics to the job including as former CEO of MDxHealth SA, co-founder of ViroClinics Biosciences BV and founder CEO of DxOrange BV. He holds a PhD in medical microbiology from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Novigenix announced the appointment on 13 May 2019.
