InBrain Pharma, a France-based biotech focused on central nervous system disorders, has appointed Véronique Foutel as chief executive officer. She succeeds Matthieu Fisichella, the company’s co-founder, who becomes chief science officer. With over 30 years’ experience in the French health service and pharmaceutical industry, notably at Roche Group, Dr Foutel will initially focus on the preparation of a Phase 3 trial for brain infusion of a therapeutic agent to treat Parkinson’s disease. Dr Foutel holds a PhD in pharmaceutical science from Paris University, France.
