Medicxi, the European life sciences investment firm, has recruited Moncef Slaoui to its team as a partner to help undertake due diligence and valuations for its venture and growth funds. Dr Slaoui was previously chairman of pharmaceutical research and development at GlaxoSmithKline Plc. He has also served on the scientific advisory boards of the Medicxi venture fund and a fund managed by Index Ventures. Medicxi is a 2016 life science spin-out from Index.
Medicxi announced the appointment on 19 September 2017.
