Mike Owen, a former executive at GlaxoSmithKline Plc, has become a non-executive director at Glythera Ltd, a UK company developing antibody drug conjugates. Dr Owen was previously chief scientific officer at Kymab Ltd and before that, global head of biopharmaceutical research and development at GSK. The appointment to Glythera is one of several of Dr Owen’s directorships which also include board positions at Avacta Plc, ReNeuron Plc and Zealand Pharma A/S.
Dr Owen holds a BA degree from Oxford University, a PhD from Cambridge University and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences.
Glythera announced the appointment on 31 July 2017.
