Miguel Forte has been appointed chief executive at Bone Therapeutics SA which is developing cell and biological therapies to treat bone diseases. He returns to Bone, where he was chief medical officer in 2017, from Zelluna Immunotherapy AS in Norway where he served as CEO for just over two years. Dr Forte is currently also chief commercialisation officer at the International Society of Cellular Therapy and is an associate professor at the University of Lisbon, Portugal. He is a medical doctor and holds a PhD in immunology from the University of Birmingham in the UK. He is a member of the editorial board of MedNous.
Bone Therapeutics announced the appointment on 19 December, 2019.
