Michael Brosnan, a financial expert, has been appointed as independent director to the supervisory board at CureVac NV of Germany. He is also a member of the supervisory board and chairman of the audit committee at MorphoSys AG. At CureVac, he will help manage the company’s finances as it moves towards the late-stage clinical development of its messenger RNA (mRNA) products. Until his retirement in 2019, Mr Brosnan was chief financial officer of Fresenius Medical Care Management AG, also in Germany.
CureVac announced the appointment on 20 June 2023.
