Merck & Co has appointed Cuong Viet Do as chief strategy officer. He will report to the chief executive and serve on the executive committee.
Mr Do previously served as senior vice president for corporate strategy at TE Connectivity, formerly Tyco Electronics. He earned his epaulettes from McKinsey & Company between 1989 and 2008.
