Marc Dunoyer, a former GlaxoSmithKline Plc executive, has been appointed chief financial officer at AstraZeneca Plc, reporting to Pascal Soriot, the chief executive. Mr Dunoyer joined AstraZeneca in June to head up global portfolio and product strategy. He was subsequently promoted to replace Simon Lowth who announced his intention to leave the company in July to become CFO at the BG Group Plc.
AstraZeneca announced the appointment on 31 October 2013.
