The members of European Biopharmaceuticals Enterprises (EBE) have elected Marc de Garidel as their new president for a two-year term. Mr de Garidel is vice president south region of the Zug, Switzerland-based Amgen International and has held the positions of vice president and treasurer on the EBE board since April 2006. Carlo Incerti will be stepping down as president to make way for Mr de Garidel. There have been several new appointments to the EBE board of directors, including Roberto Gradnick of Merck Serono; Edwin Moses of Ablynx; Søren Tulstrup of Santaris Pharma; Ralf Schumacher of Roche; and Ignacio Faus of Palau Pharma.
