The British biotechnology company Mogrify Ltd has appointed Lorenz Mayr to its board of directors. Mogrify works on the development of cell therapies through the discovery of novel cell conversions. Dr Mayr will initially join the board as an observer before taking on full board status later this year. He is currently entrepreneur in residence at Syncona Investment Management Ltd and before that was chief technical officer at GE Healthcare Life Sciences. Dr Mayr has a PhD in biochemistry and biophysics from the University of Bayreuth in Germany.
Mogrify announced the appointment on 7 July 2020.
