LeRoux Jooste, a former executive of Antares Pharma Inc, has joined Advanced Cell Technology Inc of Marlborough, Massachusetts, US as senior vice president of business development and chief commercial officer.
Prior to joining Antares, Mr Jooste was vice president for commercial assessment and product planning at Cephalon Inc. He has also held senior positions at Nabi Biopharmaceuticals (now Biota Pharmaceuticals Inc) and Eli Lilly and Company. He holds degrees in pharmacy and commerce, both obtained in South Africa.
Advanced Cell Technology announced the appointment on 20 October 2014.
