Lars Nieba has been appointed interim chief executive of Nordic Nanovector ASA following the departure of the previous CEO Eduardo Bravo. Dr Nieba joined the Norwegian oncology company on 1 December 2019 from Bayer AG where he was most recently responsible for that company’s chemistry, manufacturing and controls strategy for biologicals. He joined Bayer in 2016 from the Roche Group where he held leadership roles in clinical and technical business development.
Dr Nieba earned a PhD from the Max-Planck-Institute for Biochemistry, Munich and the Institute for Biochemistry at the University of Zurich. He also received an Executive MBA from the University of St Gallen in Switzerland.
