Larry Bell, a former head of regulatory affairs at GE Healthcare, has been appointed vice president of regulatory affairs at Prosensa Therapeutics BV of the Netherlands. Dr Bell will be based in the US and oversee the company’s global regulatory activities. He has more than 18 years of experience in regulatory affairs at some of the largest biopharmaceutical companies. He received his medical training at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Prosensa, which is developing RNA-modulating therapeutics, announced the appointment on 7 February 2013.
