Kjell Kristiansen, a former executive of Phadia AB, has been appointed managing director of Microtest Diagnostics Ltd ahead of the launch of the company’s allergy diagnostic. Mr Kristiansen has worked in the medical diagnostics field for more than 30 years, notably at Sweden’s Pharmacia AB which subsequently became Phadia AB prior to that company’s acquisition by Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc in 2011.
Microtest Diagnostics announced the appointment on 11 June 2012.
