Kite Pharma Inc has appointed Chris Nowers to head the company’s operations in Europe as it prepares for the potential launch of its chimeric antigen receptor therapy for cancer. Mr Nowers has held senior commercial positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co, Genomic Health Inc and at Avantogen Oncology Inc. In his new position, he will be based in London and oversee European commercial operation for Kite.
Kite Pharma announced the appointment on 13 October 2016.
