Ark Therapeutics Group Plc has appointed Kassim Kolia as head of business development with responsibility for building the company’s manufacturing services’ business. Ark has a plant in Kuopio Finland that produces viral vectors for gene therapies. Mr Kolia joins Ark from Eden Biodesign Ltd, part of Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc, where he was responsible for the business development of that company’s contract and manufacturing services.
Ark Therapeutics announced the appointment on 11 June 2012.
