Karl Naegler, an experienced venture capitalist, has joined Wellington Partners as a managing partner to help grow the firm’s life science business. Dr Naegler previously was a partner at the private equity and venture capital firm Gimv where he oversaw numerous portfolio sales. He began his professional career in 2002 at Atlas Venture in London and Munich and later at Ventech in Paris. Dr Naegler holds a PhD in molecular neurobiology from the Max-Delbrück-Center for Molecular Medicine in Berlin, Germany.
