Kapil Dhingra, formerly global leader for oncology at the Roche Group, has become a scientific advisor at Forbion Capital Partners in the Netherlands. Dr Dhingra is a medical oncologist who received his training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, the Lincoln Medical Center in New York City and Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to joining Roche he was a clinical research physician at Eli Lilly and Company and also worked at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He is currently head of KAPital Consulting LLC, a consultancy that he founded.
Forbion has also appointed John Kastelein, professor of medicine at the Department of Vascular Medicine at the University of Amsterdam, as an advisor. Prof Kastelein chairs the National Scientific Committee on Familial Hypercholesterolemia in the Netherlands and is a member of the Royal Dutch Society for Medicine & Physics.
