Julie O’Neill is non-executive director at HOOKIPA

HOOKIPA Pharma Inc has appointed Julie O’Neill as a non-executive director to help oversee the company’s expansion into manufacturing. HOOKIPA is developing immunotherapies for oncology and infectious disease using a proprietary arenavirus technology. Ms O’Neill was formerly head of global operations at Alexion Pharmaceuticals Inc and before that, vice president of operations at Gilead Sciences Inc. She is a chartered director and holds a BSc in pharmacy from Trinity College Dublin and an MBA from University College Dublin, Ireland.

HOOKIPA announced the appointment on 14 November 2018.
