Julie Krop has been appointed chief medical officer at PureTech Health Plc, a clinical state biotherapeutics company. She joins from the gene therapy company Freeline Therapeutics Holdings Plc where she was also CMO. At PureTech, she will oversee clinical development and regulatory affairs for the company’s pipeline of 26 therapeutics and candidate therapeutics.
Dr Krop received her medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine and completed fellowships in epidemiology, clinical trial design and endocrinology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, both in the US.
PureTech announced the appointment on 13 August 2021.
