Jonny Wray has joined Nucleome Therapeutics Ltd as senior vice president for data science and informatics in order to help the UK company advance its work decoding the dark matter of the human genome. This describes non-coding genomic regions capable of regulating gene expression. Dr Wray was previously chief technology officer at e-therapeutics Plc and before that, an executive at Five Prime Therapeutics Inc, now part of Amgen Inc.
He holds a PhD in computational neuroscience from Newcastle University in the UK. Nucleome Therapeutics announced the appointment on 4 April 2023.
