Johan Hyllner, an industry veteran, has been appointed chief scientific officer of Cell Therapy Catapult, an organisation that supports the development of the cell therapy industry in the UK. Professor Hyllner has worked in the cell therapy industry for more than 15 years including holding management positions at Cellartis AB, Vitrolife AB and Scandinavian QC Laboratories AB. He has also been involved in major collaborative projects with industry and academia.
Cell Therapy Catapult announced the appointment on 20 May 2013.
