Jean-Christophe May has been appointed chief commercial officer at Bavarian Nordic A/S, effective January 2020, where he will help the Denmark-based company commercialise its vaccines against infectious diseases and cancer. Dr May most recently served as leader of global vaccines commercialisation at GlaxoSmithKline Plc. GSK recently sold its vaccines for rabies and tick-borne encephalitis to Bavarian Nordic. Dr May holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Lille in France.
Bavarian Nordic announced the appointment on 13 November 2019.
