F-star Therapeutics Inc has recruited James Sandy, an experienced pharma executive, to take the position of chief development officer and advance the company’s portfolio of tetravalent bispecific antibodies for the treatment of cancer. Mr Sandy has been chief development officer of three companies before joining F-star. They include the oncology companies Ellipses Pharma Ltd and Immunocore Ltd and the specialty pharma group, Creabilis Ltd. Earlier in his career, Mr Sandy held senior positions at Pfizer Inc including head of development operations and project management, Europe and Asia.
Mr Sandy holds a Master of Philosophy degree in statistics and operational research from Imperial College London, UK.
