Ipsen SA has appointed Ivana Magovčević-Liebisch as its chief business officer to help oversee the company’s external innovation and partnering strategy. Dr Magovčević-Liebisch holds both a PhD in genetics from Harvard University in the US and a JD in high technology law from the Suffolk University Law School in the UK. She joins Ipsen from Axcella Health Inc where she was corporate development officer. Prior to this, she was head of global business development at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Also joining Ipsen, is Régis Mulot, who has been named chief human resources officer.
Ipsen announced the appointments on 13 March 2018.
