Hidde Ploegh, a leading immunologist, has joined the scientific advisory board of the Dutch antibody company AIMM Therapeutics BV. Dr Ploegh is a member of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, and professor of biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts US. Also joining the advisory board are Bob Löwenberg, chairman of the Department of Haematology at the Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and John Mendelsohn, formerly president of the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, US.
AIMM Therapeutics announced the appointments on 20 June 2013.
