Henrijette Richter, an investment professional, has been named as a partner of Sofinnova Partners, based in Paris, France. Dr Richter was previously an investment director and co-founder at Novo Seeds, part of Novo A/S in Denmark. She holds a combined PhD and industrial scientist degree in molecular biology from the University of Copenhagen and did postdoctoral work at the MIT Center for Cancer Research in Cambridge, Massachusetts, US. She has invested in and serves on the boards of several biotech companies including Affinicon ApS and EpiTherapeutics ApS, both of Denmark.
Sofinnova announced the appointment on 2 September 2014.
