Nexstim Plc has appointed Hanna Kotola as vice president, legal affairs, effective 1 June. Nexstim is a Finnish medical technology company that is developing a navigated non-invasive brain stimulation systems that have both therapeutic and diagnostic applications. The company’s navigated brain therapy system is currently undergoing a supplemental Phase 3 trial for stroke rehabilitation in the US. Mrs Kotola, who has previously held legal councel roles at Polar Electro Oy, Digita Oy and Nokia Oyj, will be joining the Nexstim management team and report to the CEO, Martin Jamieson.
