Hamish Cameron, formerly chief executive officer of Cambridge Antibody Technology (CAT), has been named a partner of the venture capital concern, SV Life Sciences, based in London.
Dr Cameron will focus on therapeutic investments in both Europe and the US.
Dr Cameron became CEO of CAT following the firm’s acquisition by AstraZeneca in 2006. Previously, he held a number of senior positions at the company.
SV Life Sciences advises or manages five funds with capital commitments of approximately $1.6 billion.
