The BioIndustry Association has appointed Glyn Edwards as its interim chief executive, effective immediately, replacing Nigel Gaymond who has left the organisation to pursue other opportunities. Mr Edwards was previously chief executive of Antisoma Plc from 1998 to 2011. Prior to his work at Antisoma, he held a number of business development roles in the biotech and healthcare industries. He was also a member of the BIA board of directors.
Mr Edwards holds a BSc in biochemistry from Bristol University and an MSc in economics from the London Business School.
