Georg Buchner, formerly of Silence Therapeutics Plc, has joined PolyTherics Ltd as vice president of business development. He will work with the company’s business development representative in the US and with the CEO, John Burt, to further PolyTherics’ business opportunities. Dr Buchner worked in business development at Silence and prior to that he was vice president for corporate and business development at Novacta Biosystems Ltd. Dr Buchner holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in molecular biology from King’s College London.
PolyTherics announced the appointment on 20 August 2012.
