Genmab A/S has made two senior appointments involving staff based at its headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark and its US office in Princeton, New Jersey. Birgitte Stephensen has become chief legal officer, based in Copenhagen, while Chris Cozic has been named Chief People Officer in Princeton. Both sit on the company’s executive management team with the chief executive Jan van de Winkel. Ms Stephensen joined Genmab in 2002 and has led the company’s intellectual property rights and legal strategy. In addition to qualifying as a European patent attorney, she earned a Master of Science degree from the Danish University of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Mr Cozic joined Genmab in 2017 and has led the human resources team. He received a bachelor’s degree in English and communications from Quinnipiac University, US.
Genmab announced the appointments on 1 March 2022.
