BioCity Scotland, a new incubator for life science companies, has appointed Fraser Black as its managing director. Mr Black is a former director at GE Life Sciences. Prior to that, he held senior positions in both bioscience services and sales and marketing at Amersham Bioscience. Amersham was acquired by General Electric in 2004 and incorporated into its GE Healthcare business unit. At BioCity Scotland Mr Fraser will oversee a 23-acre site housing young life science companies.
BioCity Scotland announced the appointment on 4 July 2012.
